The life of a teenager is hard enough, but when you have the save the world, its much harder. “My Life As a Teenage Robot” began as a segment in Nickelodeon’s animated experiment, “Oh Yeah! Cartoons”. The instant popularity of the pilot led the network to make it as a fully fledged series.

“Teenage Robot” is the story of Galactic Response Unit XJ9 (or Jenny, as she likes to be called), and her super heroic lifestyle. Torn between her life as a teenager and a super hero, Jenny is often confronted with the challenge of balancing responsibilities and fun.

Although she spends most of her time at home with her creator/mother/scientist, Nora Wakeman, Jenny enjoys spending time with her two human friends, the outgoing Brad, and his little scaredy-cat brother, Tuck.

Although Jenny was original designed to save the world, but she would much rather listen to pop music, go shopping, or read the latest teen magazine. Among Jenny's classmates are the devious and cruel Britt and Tiff, as well as the nerdy guy that has a crush on her, Sheldon.
